Financial Settlement: Any demand for money to “settle” a case or provide “bail” over a call is a 100% confirmation of a scam.
Forced Secrecy: Scammers will insist you stay in a locked room and tell no one. Real officials encourage legal representation and transparency.
Fake Credentials: Do not be fooled by uniforms, official-looking office backgrounds, or digital “warrants” sent via chat apps.
The Medium: Genuine law enforcement will never conduct an arrest or investigation via WhatsApp, Skype, or Zoom.
